Provo Sears: DON'T GO HERE! ZERO STARS!! My Explorer had a radiator hose break. I had it towed to Sear's b/c they were close and open Sat. BAD IDEA!! The repair was done wrong! After the repair, the car overheated again. Took it back to Sear's & was told my car probably had a bad thermostat. The thermostat was only 3 mos. old. Employee said it must have been installed wrong & I should take car to reg. mechanic and make him fix it. I called my reg. mechanic on the spot & was told it sounded like a bad radiator fill and like there was AIR in the coolant system. He was right! Sears mechanic apologized and said somehow the system was full of air and did not have enough coolant. B/c there was no leak, "machine probably turned off during filling and no one noticed." He redid it. We left. Car overheated again. I took it to my reg. mechanic (what I should have done all along!) who found exhaust fuel in coolant system. Heads were melted. Sears denies any wrong doing.

Have never had a problem with this place and have been going here for years. Friendly, professional service and decent prices.

GReat service, competeitve prices, esp. on tires. Did good work when I needed brakes but I can't comment on prices there

My car was in for new tires and had over $700 in damage done on top of having two of the wheels seated incorrectly. They then proceeded to lie to the main Sears office about the details of the incident, and that office subsequently lied to the Better Business Bureau. Their handling of the problem has been horrible and it doesn't seem like they have made any offort to prevent this from happening to other customers like you. Take you car elsewhere.

Sears has always been a top notch auto servicer. I have went to them for years and never had any problems.

I went in for an oil change and left in a car with no oil in it. The shop "forgot" to put new, fresh oil back in my car.ANDWent in for a flat tire. They said they couldn't patch it and tried to sell me 4 new tires. I told them I wanted only one and they gouged and scratched my very expensive metal alloy wheels. Manager denied it being their fault even after I proved that my other tires did not look like that. Police were called and report was filed for destruction of property.

The best automotive shop in Pensacola Florida!! I have been to alot of places but Sears is up front in the prices and nothing will be charged without you oking the work. Also after shopping around he prices were lower than most of your big chains. I have read the other post on here and it was not my impression. Call them up and give them a try.

I had a very bad experience at Sears Auto in Burnsville, MN. I went in to get a battery replaced and one would think that was an easy repair, if it was one at all. After two hours of hanging out in the adjacent mall, I had not received a call from the shop, I returned to find that it still hadn't been looked at. After waiting for another 20 minutes while the sales staff (2 people on a Sat.) one, who I found out was the acting manager, passed me by without even a "be right with you". Once I was acknowledged, I was told it would be another hour or so to get the battery installed. Finally, after 4 hours of waiting it was "done"...When I was leaving, I noticed that my radio didn't work. They proceeded to tell me they need the code from the manufacturer to reset it. UNBELIEVABLE! The "manager" was the worst at customer service! He said he couldn't do anything about it. I ended up going back to my dealership to get the job done right. NEVER AGAIN will I go back. Horrible customer service

I dropped my friend off to get his car. It's courtesy to wait for the person to get situated and make sure the car works before you abandon him.The two front tires came off while he was in the parking lot. The tires rolled faster than the car, and I couldn't stop laughing for 5 minutes. I mean come one. Drop a car off for a tire problem, and the wheels fall off before you leave. :)

I called the 800 number to get a price on tires. I had the tire size and the person wanted information on my vehicle which I don't think is necessary when I have all the information needed and only wanted a price.

Spartanburg SC Sears is crud. A guy was assisting me with a tire selection then said he said he'd be right back with no explanation. I got tired of waiting so I left. What a lousy place. I had similar bad problems in the Columbia, SC Sears. Never, ever will I go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they put 2 big dents on our car and tried to deny it.....went there for tires and left with a car that pulls to the left and 2 huge dents in my car..Im very mad.....at least they should have admitted denting the car....I would never go back and have any work done there.....

Went to Sears today @Square One Mall for brakes on my Ford F150 truck. Drove into "express lane". Waited over 15 minutes - no one came to assist me. Opened overhead doors myself and drove out. Will not return.

Went to have two tires installed at 124.00 each. with all their ad on stuff total was 481.00. Wanted to charge me extra 30.00 for shims for front end and additoinal 45 for alignment because it was a 4x4. Had same tires intsalled at Jennings with front end alignment total cost of 298.00. Tired of rip off stuff from sears!

Do not go to the Salt Lake Sears no State. Mechanic requested I bring in MY car repair book and show him what was wrong.
