Dr. Vishvesh M. Mehta comes to ENTA from a large practice in New York at the Jamaica Hospital and Medical Center. He received his medical degree in 2000 from SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn where he was amember of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his surgical internship at Downstate in 2001, and served that institution as a Clinical Assistant Instructor as well as Chief Resident. Dr. Mehta has served as attending physician and held several academic appointments at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Kings County Hospital Medical Center and Brookdale University Hospital where he received the Outstanding Teaching Award (Department of Surgery) in 2010. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Department of Otolaryngology.Dr. Mehta is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). In 2009, he traveled to Vietnam on an ENT Surgical Mission through Resource Exchange International.Dr. Mehta specializes in adult and pediatric ENT. He also has interests in comprehensive medical and surgical treatment of sinus disorders, obstructive sleep apnea and disorders of the thyroid and parathyroid. He currently is affiliated with JFK Hospital in Edison and Raritan Bay Hospital in Old Bridge.

I haven’t spent this much time face to face with a doctor in ages! I didn’t feel rushed and I was able to ask plenty of questions and received clear and concise answers. This is the way all doctors visits should be!
I have been going to Dr. Mehta since January of 2019. He is kind, patient and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Mehta to anyone in need of an ENT.
He was thorough, took into account of my problems and advised in a practical way. I really appreciate his effort to get the CT Scan from the hospital to get a complete view of damage.

Dr. Mehta is exactly the type of doctor you want to have when faced with health concerns with your little one. He is knowledgeable, relatable, honest and compassionate! We have seen him twice for our 3 week old and now 4 month old, and we feel lucky to have gotten to work with him. Thank you, Dr. Mehta for being so wonderful.
Dr. Mehta was very good and understood my problems and solved it most of all and will be solved soon. Very happy doctor and staff too.
Suggestion: Only waiting in parking lot in hot condition is not good for patients. Find some better alternatives.

As with my previous visit with Dr. Mehta, this visit was both informative and comforting due to his excellent demeanor. He is extremely knowledgeable, listened to my concerns, answered my questions in detail and provided me with constructive, easy to follow feedback.
I was recommended to Dr. Mehta by two separate friends/neighbors who do not know one another. At first I was a bit hesitant because there are several practices closer to where I live, but when they both told me about how wonderful he was with their children, I decided to make an appointment for myself.
