I've been going here since 1997 for every one of my alterations! I am in no way related to this business. I have taken at least 50 pieces of clothing to Heidi for alterations. Recently she made my daughters flower-girl dress. It is beautiful. I came in with my own ribbon, after reviewing the dress half way through we realized the ribbon I picked would not work. I brought out the shoes for the dress and she matched another piece of ribbon for the dress and shoes. She also made a hair bow "on the spot" for us to take with us. I had taken the pattern(and materials) to her in June as Heidi had requested last March and the dress was finished a week early.

I find that you "get what you pay for" in alterations. I have never ever had an issue with Heidi's work. Is it "pricey", somewhat but I know It will be done right the first time. If I have bought a $200 dress I cannot risk taking it somewhere it will be botched. Sometimes I'll have a $15 repair on a $100 item and a $30 repair on a $50 item. It depends on the work that's being done and the time that it takes her to fix it. I'm always mindful that I am paying for labor. Labor and skill are expensive in any business. Heidi's been making dresses (wedding too) and fixing everything from shirts, slacks, coats, shorts, cushions for my couch and the occasional headband for years. There is nothing Heidi cannot fix (for the most part). If you want it done right, then get it done here. (And it will cost a little bit more) And she's great for conversation too!

Heidi was pleasant and professional; her work was excellent and available when she said it would be. The price was appropriate. My husband and I were very pleased.
