Laine is talented and knowledgeable, and really listens to her clients. She understands how my fine but wavy hair needs to be cut and styled to keep the frizz factor down. She also uses great products that give me control and smoothness without being drying, stiff, or tacky. She has a great personality and has a lot to offer but also is never pushy. I just learned she also does facials and happens to already use the Dermalogica product line, which I love. She really listens to what the client wants. Also, her dog Cooper is adorable.

The silver lining to the pandemic has been WFH in Maine during the summer, and my parents love Laine. I have long, thick hair, and Laine has done an AMAZING job with my hair, especially the color. So beautiful, and while I'm used to the round brush blow out, Laine does a gorgeous "straight" look with a flat iron. Love Laine, and highly recommend!

Laine did a superb job on my hair. My hair is long and thick and is normally a lot for the average hair dresser but she is a complete pro. I asked for highlights and she did just that twice to get just the right color of blonde I was seeking. She is incredibly Knowledgable and so easy to get on with, I felt very comfortable. Finding a new haircutter is more than difficult. That said, I nailed it! I wanted a "stylist" who owned her own small shop rather than a large bustling one with frequent turnover. The location, just off Brunswick's Main St. in a quiet setting near the library, is perfect. I knew right away that Laine was a "cut" above. She listens well, takes her time, and is meticulous--it's apparent she takes pride in her work. In addition to her professionalism, her personality engages as well. Laine did an AMAZING color correction. I had been dying my own hair 2 full levels darker than my natural color. Laine took her time to do amazing work lifting the color. The product she used by Kuene left my hair feeling soft and conditioned...very surprising for a bleach product. Laine was very flexable and understanding during this almost 9 hour process, split between 3 appointments. My hair looks and feels healthy. I recommend Anew studio for its experienced and talented stylist, clean and welcoming atmosphere, fair price and amazing product line.

Anew Studio is a class A salon. Location and parking are excellent and the staff is wonderful.Laine is a very talented hairstylist and aesthetician. She has an excellent treatment room specifically for facials and waxing. She has never had a problem cutting, highlighting, or perming my very difficult and fine hair! I would highly recommend Laine for all your hair and skin needs.

I have been using Dermalogica products for over 20 years and getting facials from Laine for over 10 years. She is professional, highly skilled, and very accommodating--highly recommend!
