I came in to ask about a prostate procedure that I had seen in an ad. After consultation and examination, Dr. B-T recommended a different procedure that he felt would be much more appropriate for my particular situation. We went with that procedure. He told me in advance that full recovery would take as long as three months. He was right! Along the way, whenever my anxiety levels went up because I didn’t think I was making any progress, he was good to reassure me and remind me that this would be a distance run, not a sprint. That’s exactly how it worked out and, for me, a little extra time was a great trade-off for avoiding a more invasive procedure.

Dr Bevan-Thomas is very easy to talk to. He comes up with plan to address the issue at hand. He answers all questions asked. He recommended the correct procedure best for me which was the Rezum procedure which solved my BPH. The recovery time was minimal and now can sleep all night without bathroom breaks. I can honestly say Rezum was the correct choice for me.

Dr. Thomas and his staff were professional, patient focused and did an excellent job.

After years with getting up multiple times during the night and straining to urinate the procedure I had has left me sleeping better and I no longer feel the need to force my self to go when i urinate it is a strong flow and I feel that my bladder is completely empty I only wish I would have done it sooner

I went in thinking I had a bladder stone but, after an examination I was told I had bladder cancer. Once I was diagnosed with bladder cancer I had a million questions. Dr. Bevin-Thomas was very straight with me on the treatment options and possibilities. His staff helped me through each phase of the treatments and explained my options and what to expect during and after each treatment.
When I first found out, I read a lot on the internet about what to expect. I took all of these questions with me and they were happy to answer them. He chose BCG treatments for my care. He and his staff explained all the possible side effects and outcomes by using this course of treatment. Along with precautions and personal care I would need to take. Their willingness to explain everything to me has helped me to get through this. I’m very grateful for their experience and care during this difficult time for my family.

Having a larger prostate, Dr. Bevin-Thomas told me that the best way to achieve results I was looking for was with a Robotic Simple Prostatectomy. Once I rationalized that returning to a “normal” life FAR outweighed the hassle of a RSP and wearing a catheter for a week, I scheduled the surgery. I had a Urolift three weeks ago. Prior to Urolift I was getting up at night six to ten times. After Urolift I only get up twice at night. If I take a sleeping pill I sleep all night. I highly recommend the Urolift procedure. Dr. Bevin-Thomas is awesome.

After learning that a close family member was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, I made an appointment at UPNT to see Dr. Bevan-Thomas to get checked. Dr. Bevan-Thomas is an excellent physician. He has helped me through several kidney stone crises and lithotripsy procedures. I feel 100% confident in his medical practice and patient care. He takes the time to listen to patient needs and what may be internally contributing to medical problems.

My story begins with a simple PSA test from my primary physician during an annual exam. My lab results indicated an above average PSA of around 10. My physician recommended follow-up with a Urologist. I was skeptical since I had no symptoms . I am so glad I took his advice because it turns out I had prostate cancer. I’m fairly young (50’s) with two amazing kids in college. I want to see them grow and raise families so I choose to fight this disease as aggressively as possible. After research, discussion with family and a lot of prayers I choose robotic surgery. I can honestly say that after a couple years I am close to normal and have the peace of mind that I am cancer free. Please get annual physicals including a PSA test.

I can’t remember when ever I have peed as good as I am now. If you have an extra enlarged prostate you need to visit with DR. Bevan-Thomas. He fixed this goat rancher and he can you also.

Prostate biopsy that I had been dreading due to stories that I have been told that the procedure was very painful. Dr Bevan-Thomas is great, made me feel comfortable and explained what he was doing during each step of the procedures. I experienced no pain and have had dentist visits that were more uncomfortable.

First off I didn’t really understand what prostate was but after me and the doctor talk he really change my mind because going to a catheter till knowing I could have problems with my kidneys too this green laser surgery have been good even though I trust in god and the ones that made this happen the staff was good and by it’s been my first time he’s is the one with gud advice I’m doing awesome and as the days goes by I can say thank y’all and what and all y’all professionally go there it will change your life

When I was first diagnosed with prostate cancer I committed myself to researching all my options. I decided on surgery and started looking for what I thought was my best option at beating this.
