If I lived within half a days drive to your hardware store, I'd drive there and look around until I found something to buy. After all, what man can't find something in a hardware store that he's gonna need sometime. Love your sign and I wish other store owners had the brass nuts to do what you did. Ignore the people who talk about infrastructue and other stupid topics. If your store was powered by candlelight and off the beaten path, you'd still get visits. You obviously provide a product that people need. Keep up the good work.

I would do business with anyone that speaks their mind and has worked hard to build their business. I support small business and I know if you do not treat your customer fairly and give them value for their money, you won't be in business long. Something tells me Mr Gastner has been doing something right with the business HE BUILT. Sir, thank you for saying it!!!! I'm an active duty soldier stationed in Colorado Springs at Fort Carson. My wife and I have started a business called Caliber Nutrition. We used our own money, our own hands, our own trucks, our own everything! We asked for a VA small business loan and were denied! Twice!!!!! We asked for another government loan for Military Spouses and again, denied! So I can honestly say we have started our business on our own with no help from anyone. Dear Mr. Gaster, I am so very proud of you for taking a solid stand against Resident Obama in a language that he most definitely understands. I wish I could extend some business to your establishment from way out in California. I am the son of Mexican immigrants who came to this country precisely to work hard just as you have. The last I checked, Mexico, too, had roads and bridges. China has roads and bridges. Notice, however, that people flock to America?
