My sisters iPhone screen cracked and the home button wasn't working so she was definitely stuck. Since I was the one work broke it it was up to me to fix it. After calling a few places these guys seems straight forward on the phone and said I could get it fixed the same day. The place seemed super legit, not like a lot of those hole in the wall places you find in NYC. I was seen in about 5 minutes of arriving hung up in the front office while I waited. $109 for new home button & screen on a 4S was perfect plus now my sister isn't yelling at me any more.

Over the course of the last four years, I've had four G-Tech drives (I can't give those things a low enough rating) fry on me. The first time, I took it to Tekserve, where I paid through the nose. Afterwards, a friend told me to try Computer Overhauls. They were less expensive than Tekserve BY A LONG SHOT, much more helpful, much friendlier, and generally nicer people. I proceeded to take the next two drives there as well as my computer when I needed some help on it as well. They're good people who do good work.

So last week I few back into NYC from vacation and when I got home and unpacked my bag I found my Macbook laptop with a shattered screen!! I booked an appointment at the Apple store and the genius bar took a look at it for me. The verdict was that my warranty would not cover the repair - the cost from Apple $895 - OUCH - Luckily the genius bar staff suggested that if I didn't want to pay that much then I could go and check out these guys. Long story short I got to their office and them immediately quoted me $429 to install a new screen. DONE! They guy was very friendly and told me it usually takes 3-5 days for this repair to be completed. The next day I got a call that the computer was repaired and ready for pickup. My macbook was back to its normal self with a nice new screen installed. The best part was I was never there for more than 10 minutes - no long lines - no appointments required.

I bought my Dell notebook about two years ago(the summer before I began attending college). I am a big fan of Computer Overhauls, which my friend --who knew the founder-- recommended. Now, we are in our 70s, and comfortable with our computers, but cannot always troubleshoot them ourselves. The staff at CO don't always make eye contact, but they listen very carefully, ask the right questions, and don't patronize us. They are honest about whether or not they can make repairs. They don't push us to buy extra equipment or services. Work is completed promptly and in the time frame promised. The prices are fair. They undertake stuff that the Apple Store won't touch. Why would I go somewhere else?

The best $325 I've ever spent. I restored my computer to try and fix a virus but instead wiped everything out included all my photos. Yury was able to recover almost everything in about 3 days time. I though I had lost those pics forever. Couldn't be happier!!

IF YOU NEED A CHEAP LAPTOP CHECK THEM OUT!! My laptop got stolen so I needed something cheap to get buy. Didn't want to deal eBay and found these guys instead. $149 got me a Dell D600 with XP Pro and a $25 one year warranty! What!!! It came fully loaded with all the software,drivers, restore disc etc.

Brian gave me a straightforward evaluation on my computer. I was thinking of buying a new one from them but instead he suggested simply upgrade the memory for $75. My computer started giving me the blue screen of DEATH.. It was about 5 years old but was very expensive when I bought it. I brought it into Computer Overhauls for a diagnostic and within a few minute they were able to run a built int diagnostic that I didn't even know existed. Hard drive was failing. They gave me options of replacing the drive and re-installing all the software or just buying one of their pre-owned laptops and moving the data over. Since mine was about 5 years old I went with buy a new one for $349. They move over all my files and i was ready for pickup later that day. Fast, effective service with your best interest in mind!!!
