I had breakfast at this restaurant last week and had two large cockroaches (or "waterbugs" as the waitress who smashed them on my table called them) join me at my table. After the second one, the waitress rightfully picked up my check for a half order of biscuits and gravy. I didn't have any cash on me, and didn't feel like leaving a two dollar tip on my credit card in light of the circumstances, so I thanked her for buying me breakfast and left. I went in for lunch today and the same waitress publicly humiliated me, in a very loud voice, in front of the whole restaurant for not having left a tip. When I told her I had planned on making it up this time she blared "NO YOU DIDN'T! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I MAKE AN HOUR? WE'LL SEE HOW LONG IT TAKES YOU TO GET SERVICE NOW!" I politely told her that she had changed my mind about making up the tip, waited a few minutes, and left. I would have complained to the owner, but he's her uncle. I should have called the health department! Gross!
