General Info
All of us at the Yellow Springs Psychological Center share a commitment to an in-depth model of psychotherapy which puts great faith in the capacity of each individual to grow and change. While we each draw on various traditions, we have come together out of our shared therapy values. We work with Clients to create a safe environment that promotes deep self-awareness and self-acceptance. Building on a supportive and confidential therapeutic relationship, we endeavor to facilitate insightful experiences in the therapy session. Our therapy generally emphasizes emotional expression over intellectual analysis and significant personal growth over quick fixes. Finally we see each person as a unique individual to be heard, understood, and appreciated.
