My husband and I just had the pleasure of trying out the re-opened Lone Star Ranch House - we had really missed it since it closed about 2 years ago. It was great! The food is better than ever, the service prompt and friendly. You can get a hearty breakfast, and lunch/dinner feature good old-fashioned comfort foods, barbeque, or you can go "healthy" with the salad options. This will once again be our "go to" place for a tasty meal at a reasonable price, close to home in the West Valley, when we are too tired after a long day at work or just don't want to bother with cooking, and don't want to travel downtown (20-30 minutes each way).
