My name is Donalyn Hammer. My professional experience in Washington was acquired on a hospital psychiatric unit, at a community mental health agency, and most recently through private practice. Prior to moving to Washington 8 years ago, I worked as a counselor in the community college and university system. My therapeutic orientation is Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT) integrating training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and pragmatic intervention (for those with different learning systems). I have assisted individuals dealing with major and complex issues to those seeking to foster mental wellness.
