Just purchased my first hot tub and the experience was terrific. Now our family enjoys evening disks under the stars.

We have owned a Knickerbocker pool and have had nothing but problems with the service department staff. The pool itself is fine, and the men who have come to service our pool have been nice. However, the quality of service is poor. We had our liner replaced and in our small pool, it has 5 sections. It's all you see when you look at our pool and they refused to address it. Our heater died and we replaced it with a heater purchased by Knickerbocker. (The original heater was installed by them too close to the garage and blackened our overhang). The new heater lasted less than 3 years. We could have ordered the heater ourselves and bought it for half that price. We also found that they replaced it with a cheap copper exchanger model when a far superior model was available for a little more money. They have inexperienced college kids that test your water and they have been inaccurate in the testing and I believe that getting bad readings on our chemical contributed to the death of our heater along with the cheap exchanger. It has been pure drama and we finally decided to change pool companies after all these years. I am sorely disappointed in the lack of communication from the staff as well their lack of integrity. My advice is, shop around. Always look on the internet and do research before you buy anything and come prepared with information and with your own prices to negotiate. If something is wrong with your service or installation, write the Better Business Bureau. It's the only way to make a business accountable.
