Umass Memorial MRI & Imaging Center is a magnetic resonance imaging center that is located in Worcester, Mass. It is a part of Shields MRI, which is one of the leading diagnostic imaging organizations in the Northeast. Shields MRI is a family-owned organization that has been providing diagnostic imaging services for more than 25 years. It owns and operates over 17 centers that are located throughout New England. Each of the centers is an independently owned and operated unit. Shields MRI is a part of Shields Health Care Group, which was founded in 1972. Shields Health Care Group is one of the largest and most advanced networks of medical imaging, diagnostic and treatment facilities in New England.
