- Income TaxJennifer is passionate about educating individuals about personal finance and a supporter of bringing diversity to the profession. In the past, she has been an active volunteer with Junior Achievement in the Worcester School system and taught financial literacy to many youth classes in her school district. She volunteered during the tax season for a number of years through the IRS VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program to prepare tax returns for members of the National Guard. Jennifer is currently a member of the United Way Women’s Initiative and participates as a mentor in the Dollar $cholar program mentoring middle-school girls. She is also a member of the CFP Board’s Women’s Initiative working to address the challenge of under-representation of women in the financial planner workforce.
- Investment ManagementIn between his college semesters, Liam worked for a startup medical-device company in the Greater Boston area as a Summer Finance Intern. While in school, he worked alongside a team of peers to develop a product idea into a full-fledged business plan. The semester-long project culminated with a contest as each group pitched their respective plan to a panel of professors in a mock ‘Shark Tank’ pitch. He is interested in investment management strategy and has plans to pursue a financial certification in the future.
- Wealth ManagementCarl has spent his entire career in the financial services industry. In 1964, he founded the firm that bears his name and remains actively involved in the business. In 1975, he was one of the first pioneers that introduced the “discount brokerage” concept as an alternative to the traditional brokerage model. In the 1980’s he launched an institutional trading division that specialized in local NASDAQ companies. The trading division prospered throughout the 1990’s by providing liquidity for Worcester-based companies looking to expand and grow. Carl oversaw the eventual transition from discount brokerage and NASDAQ trading to its current model of comprehensive financial planning and wealth management.
- Financial PlanningJennifer joined the firm in 2007 and is currently our Lead Planner and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. Since 2003, she has spent her entire career dedicated to offering the highest level of service with comprehensive, personalized, independent, and customized financial planning. Her knowledge and skills help clients define and address each of their goals and applies the highest level of service and standards.
- Retirement PlanningGary joined the firm in 1986 and is currently Chief Executive Officer and a CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR™. He has vast experience in asset management, operations, compliance, trading, and financial planning. He works with a diverse client base and specializes in investment strategies for individuals, retirement plans, non-profits, trusts, and estates. What sets him apart is his commitment to understanding what is truly important to his clients, getting to know them, and identifying what they want to accomplish.
