2020-2021 School Year! Parents, Juanita's Home School Preschool program is designed for children unable to attend Kindergarten because of their late birthdays (After 9/30). We Use The A-BEKA Curriculum and have recently implemented The My Baby Can Read Program by Dr. Robert Titzer. We Have a Small Classroom with One on One Attention. This is a Uniform School. The Smallest Home School Preschool in the County! Accepting all potty-trained Children Between Ages 4 to 5 years of age. Unfortunately our facility is not equipped for special needs. Ms. Juanita has our 5 year old reading in 9 months of attendance. We are so blessed to have found someone who is so caring and consistent! Our 5 year old comes home with homework and is eager to practice his writing and reading. Thank you Ms. Juanita for not only getting our little one up to speed, but ahead of the pack!
Ms. Juanita is the best!! My son did summer school with her and he is now writing, reading and spelling like a first grader!!! Ms. Juanita goes above and beyond to teach the kids the word of God but also manners, respect and compassion!!

My daughter has just completed her first year with Ms. Juanita!! After my nephew attended during the summer and seeing the results I absolutely had to send my daughter with Ms Jaunita. My daughter at age 3 learned how to write her name, spell her colors and numbers, and sound her letters and so much more! When my daughter started she had mommy separation issues and did not even know how to color. My daughter always shocks people when she shows how much she knows and her confidence is great now. Me and my husband are so comfortable at work knowing she is in a safe environment and expanding her knowledge with Ms. Juanita. Ms. Juanita's preschool is the best decision we ever made for my daughter. This preschool is a great safe Christian environment where children actually learn.
Ok, you've read all these glowing reviews and you may be wondering if they could all be true. They all speak glowingly of Miss Juanita's Home School Preschool. I rarely write reviews of my own but I can tell you that, yes, it's all true. 5/5 Stars is not an understatement. Unfortunately, we are moving out of the area are forced to withdraw our 3-year old daughter. But our loss is your gain! If you want the best for your child, this preschool is certainly fits the bill!
My son attended during the summer for a total of 10 weeks and Mrs Junita worked miracles on this child! I'm so amazed that she got my son to learn everything he needed to know before going into kinder and only in 10 weeks of school. She is an amazing teacher and knows exactly what she's doing if you are looking for a preschool this IS the PLACE TO GO!!! My son is now in kinder and teacher was amazed at how much he knew and just being in kinder for a month and he learned how to read and I know Mrs junita had a whole lot to do with that!!! If it weren't for her teaching him his sounds the letters and so much more he probably still wouldn't know how to read. She works incredible miracles on all the kids who go to her and I am so thankful for her hard work and dedication to getting my son to learn all the basics of kinder. It's been a month and a half in kindergarten and today I received a call saying they want him in first grade for half the day to extend his learning!!!! Me and my husband are beyond happy and Mrs Juanita truly is an excellent pre-k teacher we enjoyed having our son with her and just wished we would have found her sooner. Don't invest your money somewhere else trust me when I say this is the place you want your child to be at. If you want learning don't think about it twice Mrs Junita is the one you were looking for.
My child was three years old when she first started going to Ms. Juanita. In the beginning, she was very shy but after couple of weeks she became very outgoing and started to know her ABCs and her number. Now she is 4 years old and she is able to read words, spell colors and numbers and she is able to write her name. She is a bilingual student since at home we speak mix of two different languages. Since she had started attending Ms. Juanita home school, she has improved her English and has become outgoing and active. Before she used to shy away from other kids and needed a push or an introduction but now she approaches all the kids and is not shy anymore. Overall, our experience with Ms. Juanita's Preschool has really helped my child learn, and write starting at an early age. In addition, she has also developed proper etiquette and has become quite understanding.
Just FOUR WEEKS...an already my daughter has learned her vowels, counts by tens, is able to recite the days of the week, months in a year, her visual perceptions skills have been fine-tuned, and her reading comprehension is remarkable for a three year old. Ms. Juanita Brown steps have truly been ordered. My daughter is a recent addition to the school and I have seen changes in her intellectually and socially over the last month. The sky is NOT the limit when you are a student of Ms. Brown's, especially when there are footprints on the moon. She will not only prepare your child for the next step in their education but your child will be taught basic fundamental lessons which they will use throughout their academic career. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!
Juanita has been a Godsend! When Catherine came to Juanita's she was a bit shy and she has blossomed into a very strong leader. Academically, Juanita challenged her students to be the best they could be and reach beyond the limits set. Consequently, when Catherine left Juanita's preschool and registered for kindergarden, she tested way above average and was ready for 1st grade. She has accelerated and is reading two grade levels ahead of other her age. Juanita, thanks for all you have taught Catherine and our family. Keep up the good works.
Juanita Brown's Preschool is simply the BEST!!!! I don't know where to begin. My friendship with Juanita began in 2002 when she began teaching my niece, Mya, who continues to excel academically. So, before I was even married or had children, I told Juanita that my children will be attending her school.
My daughter, Amari, attended Juanita's Preschool for 2 years and recently started Kindergarten in August 2011. My daughter learned so much from Mrs. Juanita. When Amari first came to Juanita's school, she lacked social skills. Amari blossomed into a social butterfly. Amari improved dramatically in her colors, shapes, letters and numbers, as well as, in her spiritual growth. Juanita taught Amari how to use good manners and be respectful.
I know that Juanita is truly blessed by God. She always offers words of encouragement, opportunity for improvement and acknowledgement of progression. I know that I received a 2 for 1 deal because while I paid for Amari's education, I also learned a great deal.
Juanita talked about her plans to retire, and I joked with her that she couldn't until I was done having children. When I was pregnant with my son, I went to see Juanita to inform her that she couldn't close until she taught him. I told her to keep him on her wait list, until he became of age. I'm happy to say that day has finally come.
My son, Royce, just started Mrs. Juanita's school this week, and I know he will be successful.
So, anyone who may be thinking of choosing Mrs. Juanita's Preschool, please don't hesitate. Your child will be so much more advanced academically, spiritually rooted and socially prepared. My family love and adore Mrs. Juanita, and she has become such a good friend.
Juanita Preschool Home School has an exceptional program that prepares your little one for kindergarten. Juanita provides a loving, structured, and safe environment which will allow your child to accelerate with academics and socialization. My son has only been at Juanita's Home school for eight months and he already counting to 100, writing his name, and coloring in the lines with his artwork. He just turned 4 years old. My son's behavior has also improved dramatically. Juanita teaches the children to be respectful and well mannered, which is essential to entering elementary school. I am confident that my son will be well prepared and more advanced then his classmates upon entering kindergarten. I highly recommend Juanita Preschool Home School.
Junita's program is exceptional my son attended for two years. This program prepares children for Kindergarden so well. The personalized attention is amazing my child learned so much I don't even know where to start. This is a truly a preschool not day care. Juanita is able to work wonders she incorporates innovative ways for your child to learn and have fun at the same time. She offers just as much as a traditional preschool and so much more. I feel so fortunate to have found her words are not enough.
Juanita is an absolute dream of a person - I really don't where she gets all her enthusiastic energy all the time?! She is THE perfect mentor and teacher of young children, there is simply no reason for anyone to go anywhere else, and so very thankful she especially works with kids who's birthdays fall outside of the school system's criteria.
Juanita only takes on 5 or 6 kids at most a school year, so she can definitely devote the right concentrated attention and learning for each child in the most caring and respectful manner ever. Because of this, she even has a high rate of success of her students then getting advanced a grade, or even two, and we fully expect our dear 5 year old (who has already completed 1st grade course work through Juanita!) will be advanced as well when he completes his PWC required kindergarten time. There simply is no one else better! Period!
Our family has had years of success with Mrs Juanita's Home School. After trial and error with other local preschool programs, we were referred to Mrs Juanita and have had the benefit of graduating the 5 youngest members of our family from this exciting new program. The energetic and zealous nature in which this teacher approaches the curriculum each year is refreshing. Unique in designing the lesson to fit each childs individual needs, Juanita has blessed our up and comers with a rock solid foundation for socialization, achievement and most of all SUCCESS...
Juanita’s preschool/home school is a program that every parent looks for. She is an exceptional instructor of children, with an amazing spirit that translates into her teaching. My son was enrolled in her school for two years before he went to Kindergarten. He not only was ready for Kindergarten but was able to read on a 1st grade level. The small class setting and Abeka curriculum provided my son to achieve high academic and a high level of confidence and social skills. My son is starting 3rd grade and he still want to report to Mrs. Juanita his Honor roll grades every year since he graduated her preschool.
I truly believe, enrolling in Juanita's program, gave my son a great start to his education. It was truly a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone. If you want your child to have a head-start on his/her academic career, Juanita can definitely help. My son, Christian, attended Juanita's preschool program for the 2007-08 school year. He had been on her waiting list since his birth (we live on the same street and her A+ reputation is well-known) and I was more than excited to get him out of a daycare facility and into a more structured setting. As a teacher of special education preschoolers myself, I knew exactly what I was looking for in an educator. Although, yes, I DID Christian to learn some pre-academic skills to give him a solid foundation when startng Kindergarten, I wanted him to be in a setting where he was loved and respected. Not only did Christian learn his letters, letter sounds, numbers, colors, shapes, etc. he learned so much more about life - and how to handle himself in the big world around him. Juanita helped to instill those very important values in Christian - how to follow directions, how to use good manners and how to be a good friend. In addition, he learned a lot about himself and his relationship with God. Christian was excited to get ready for school every day and he was always welcomed with a smile. Each day that I picked him up, I was told something positive about what he did that day - that meant a great deal to me but, especially, to Christian. Juanita is an amazing educator but, more than that, she has an amazing spirit. She really is dedicated to the children she teaches and I feel so blessed that Christian will always carry memories of his experience in Juanita's preschool program. My younger son is on her waiting list, too - he can start next year!
I can't say enough wonderful things about Mrs. Juanita. My children absolutely loved her and my 1st grader wants to go back! Because of her exceptional talents , both of my children started off ahead of the game. My daughter was already on 1st grade level at the start of kindergartern and is still doing great in school. My son is also doing well. Thanks to Mrs. Juanita, they had a great foundation to build upon. Her establishment is the BEST in Woodbridge and we've tried several well-known facilities in the area. None of them can touch Juanita's. She gets an A+ in all areas including:

My daughter attended Juanita's home school and we found it to be the best preschool/daycare experience she has had. This was the third preschool/daycare that our daughter has been to due to relocating and it is by far the best. Juanita has a great spirit and energy that motivates and excites the children, while letting them know who is in charge at the same time. The facility is always immaculate and I have never heard of an outbreak of illness among the students. Our daughter was enthusiastic about attending and couldn't stop talking about her activities and lessons when we picked her up. I highly recommend Juanita's Preschool.
I think this is a great school to send to child to. My grandson attended this past year and I am amazed with the accomplishments he has made in preparing for kindergarten. The teacher is very knowledgeable and gives the children the one on one teaching I feel that will help them. The school is very clean and the children seems very happy when I go to pick up my grandson. I strongly recommend your preschooler to attend this school.
Juanita has an amazing spirit that translates into her teaching ability. When I first enrolled my daughter into Juanita's pre-school program she was 4 years old and having difficulties with retaining information of any kind, let alone and type of academic information. I was so impressed with Juanita's classroom, her curriculum, work ethic and her dedication to the children and parents. After the 1st month with Juanita, my daughter was able to repeat and spell all of her primary colors, knew her numbers from 1-20 and I also noticed a significant improvement in her social skills and level of responsibility. Thanks to Juanita, by the time my daughter graduated from the program, she was performing kindergarten-level math problems, had learned to sound out many words, and was learning about historical facts. My daughter blossomed--she was so comfortable in this small attentive setting.
