Dr. Khattab has almost 20 years of experience in dentistry. He earned his first degree - a Bachelor of Dental Surgery - in 1997 from the University of Baghdad School of Dentistry. After moving to the United States, he was accepted into the prestigious University Of Michigan where he earned his second degree. Dr. Khattab is very passionate about dentistry. He believes “by improving people’s smiles, you can improve their lives.” Also, he believes strongly in continuing education to further his skills and techniques, always aspiring to achieve clinical excellence in his day-to-day practice. As part of his continuing dental education, Dr. Khattab focuses on adult complex restorations, esthetics, and dental implants. After years of advanced training and experience, Dr. Khattab discovered that each patient represents a unique set of conditions, desires, and expectations that must be evaluated and understood. He offers a free consultation to develop a personalized and comprehensive treatment plan for each and every one of his patients. Dr. Khattab works as a full-time dentist at Lorton Town Dental. In his free time, Dr. Khattab enjoys traveling, working out, playing soccer, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.

Had a cleaning, partial deep cleaning, crown prep and crown placement. Overall very pleased with the service. Is aware of the sensitivity of the teeth and makes to adjustment not to cause unnecessary pain or discomfort to the patient. Dr. Khattab is very skilled in making "the fit" so that the temporary and the crown felt "normal". Appreciated the followup phone call too.
The knowledged and friendly staff made what could be an uneasy first time appointment seem natural. Prompt service, quick to follow up and KNOWING how to explain what is expected, follow-up procedures, scheduling and working with insurance made this a pleasant experience. Not expected and pleasantly pleased. Lisa makes a very great impression on potential patients and the staff, dentist included, keep the experience easy going.

Dr. Khattab and his staff are very professional and friendly! I'm usually scared going to the dentist, but with Dr. Khattab, I feel I'm in good hands and the treatments were quick and easy. Will definitely recommend him to anybody.
Experience was good. I was unaware of all the change that has happened...so that was interesting, caught me off guard. I had established a relationship with my previous dentist. Seems like each dentist tells me something different that I need to do/have done.
