General Info

A career in healthcare was always a possibility for me. During the summer of my first year at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, I went on a medical relief trip to Honduras. Seeing the help that I could provide even as a freshman made me even more invested in becoming a healthcare provider to give back to my community. \n I love family medicine because we get to know our patients, their health and their stories deeply. We are able to form connections built on trust, and that helps me be a better provider. I start building that relationship by listening to each patient. I look for ways to help them take control of their own health, and commit to working with them to make lasting changes. \n Painting is one of my favorite activities when I am not working. My specialties are watercolor and acrylics. I also enjoy practicing yoga to keep me centered and relaxed.
