St. John's Lutheran School is an educational institute that serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. Founded in 1951, the school offers a variety of athletic activities, such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, and track and field. It maintains a parent-teacher organization that provides opportunities to discuss the mutual concerns of parents and teachers. St. John's Lutheran School features a computer lab and offers instruction in computer basics, keyboarding and Internet research skills. It offers after-school care programs. It has an enrollment of more than 190 students and conducts classes in English, math, science, social studies and music. The school has a library that offers a range of books and reference materials. St. John's Lutheran School also organizes various trips and summer camps and is located in Winston-Salem, N.C.
