Located in Winston Salem, N.C., Hospice & Palliative Care Center offers a variety of hospice care services. Founded in 1979, the center provides various programs and services, such as palliative, home health and hospice care, and counseling, community support and therapy programs. Its hospice care services includes pain control and symptom management, emotional support, medical equipment and supplies, dietary and nutritional guidance, bereavement care, and physical, occupational, speech, music and art therapies. The center s home health services include treatment for Alzheimer s disease, congestive heart failure, emphysema and Lou Gehrig s disease. Its home health services include intermittent visits by skilled nurses, certified nursing assistants and medical social workers and spiritual care. It provides services to various locations, including Forsyth, Davie, Guilford, Rowan, Cabarrus, Iredell, Stokes, Surry, Yadkin, Wilkes and Stanley counties in North Carolina.
