- Pediatric CareJoanna graduated with honors from Wichita State University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2006 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2010. She completed post-graduate certification in Mechanical Diagnostic Therapy (MDT) at the McKenzie Institute in 2018 and specializes in treatment of the spine and related pain. Additionally, she has extensive experience in general orthopedics, post-surgical rehabilitation, pediatrics and home health. Having more than 11 years of diverse experiences, Joanna says, “I’m passionate about working with patients in helping them to eliminate pain and increase mobility.” Originally from Belle Plaine, Kansas, Joanna moved to Winston-Salem in June of 2021 when her husband, Daren, accepted a position with Wake Forest University Athletics. Their family includes two dogs, Stella and Macy.

- Wound CareJenn holds a Master’s of Physical Therapy from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Originally from Charlotte, N.C., Jenn began her PT career at Carolina’s Medical Center in Charlotte working with med-surgical, post-op orthopedic and outpatient wound care patients. Jenn transitioned to inpatient care at Whitaker Rehabilitation Center after moving to Winston-Salem in 2010 with her husband and son and soon moved to outpatient care in 2012. Jennifer is passionate about educating patients on the benefits and importance of functional fitness, especially those with chronic autoimmune conditions to help live their best life through the joy of movement! Jennifer and her family enjoy being active in their church and student ministry, traveling and homeschooling their teenage son.

- Ankle SprainJeff Chandler earned a B.S. in Athletic Training from Appalachian State University and an M.S. in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University-Medical College of Virginia Campus. A former collegiate wrestler, Jeff has worked with athletes from youth to professional levels, including the US Wrestling team, and specializes in foot and ankle injuries. He is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Private Practice Section.
