Expertise: Hard to tell. He was virtually inaccessible to our family, not even willing to take phone calls. Had to catch him on site, in person -- and even then, he was always in a hurry. Probably to get back to his other nursing home (Winona Manor), his position at the Winona hospital, and his little blue sports car. Facility: clean, airly, albeit sparsely decorated. Like all nursing homes, most (but not all) staff quickly tired of family visits and became resentful of questions and requests to comfort our mother. Professionalism: Dr. Rushing: Dismal. Came off as narcissistic, overly busy, too concerned with other "business" to talk with us, let alone show compassion. Heard Winona Manor is worse, though.
