Clock Medical recently became the only regional medical supply distributor deemed Accredited by Joint Commission on healthcare. The three year, non-restricted accreditation was awarded after extensive review and on-site inspection of distribution facilities. Accreditation is one business requirement necessary for participation in the national Competitive Bidding Program for Medicare Part B supplies and services. Clock's have completed all requirements for competitive bidding and are awaiting results of the bidding process. This is predicted to occur in late 2007 with implementation scheduled for July, 2008.
