Great service and a fair price!

I wanted a transfer switch put into my house so that I could run a generator and keep my power going during emergencies. I contacted LightenUp and they sent their technician, Isaiah Trujillo. From the first visit that Isaiah came to look at my set up, he was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. When Isaiah came back after receiving the parts ordered to complete my job, he again was very professional and courteous. He did a superb job of installing the transfer box and making all the connections but then he went above and beyond and went through step by step, including connecting and running my generator and making sure each transfer he made was working properly. More than that though was his kindness in making sure that I understood how to make the switch if needed and his patience while I wrote down each and every step. He truly wanted to make sure I understood everything and how to do it. I cannot say enough good about Isaiah and his work except that I would recommend him to anybody wanting electrical work completed. Thank you Isaiah.

The owner of Lighten Up, while not admitting the overcharge, did refund the disputed amount, which shows that they are a reputable business which wants to do the right thing. Bottom line: they came out on a Sunday, fixed my leak, and had my water restored within an hour!

We had a pipe burst beneath our mobile home late Saturday night. Called this company Sunday morning, they sent a man out, he found the leak immediately and it fixed with an hour. That's the good news.Here's the rest of the story: After saying that it would be $299, he charged us $524, none of which was parts, all labor, for less than 60 minutes of work.Yes, I wrote him a check, but then I called their office and spoke with the owner, who agreed that I should have been informed of the additional charge, but said he had to speak to the plumber and would call me after the Labor Day holiday, he also stated that they would not cash the check.Of course, they did cash it, and although he did leave me a message on Tuesday, both of my attempts to call him back since have been met with "he's out of the office."Anyway, if you call them, be prepared to pay through the nose!

The technician took care of the electrical repairs and upgrades that we requested and identified and resolved some issues we were unaware of....all appreciated.

These guys are great service people..they were very prompt and thorough in handling our plumbing issues
