      General Info
      I returned to the Pocono-area because it’s truly my home and I’m excited to provide care to children in my community, I get to be closer to my family and I wanted to begin my practice where I had roots. I consistently reassure parents that incidental things will happen and if their child gets sick or hurt, it’s no one’s fault; parents tend to harbor a lot of guilt which they try to assuage by reinforcing the parent/doctor team concept so they know they are not alone. I believe that the best medical team for a child consists of the provider and parents. Parents are the real experts in their children’s health, and their expertise, along with my medical knowledge, allows us to make the best possible decisions for the health and wellbeing of their child. Originally from Brooklyn, I moved to Stroudsburg, where I lived until graduating from high school. After successfully completing a 6-year, BS/MD program at Howard University in Washington, DC, I completed a pediatrics residency at Texas Children's Hospital - Baylor College of Medicine. When not working, I love cooking and baking and I’m a major proponent of fitness. I enjoy trying healthy spins on recipes and dragging my parents to the gym!
