Are you (or a loved one) struggling with problems due to substance use, anxiety, depression, mood swings? Are these struggles consuming your life, keeping you from the life you deserve? Have you tried breaking the cycle only to find yourself back in the same situation day after day? Many people know what they need, but are too exhausted to make changes. I have found that for some, a brief, solution focused approach is all that's needed to get control and make changes. Together we identify the underlying problem, devise a plan, and tackle the steps, one by one. Others may want deeper work to heal (rewire thinking) due to traumatic experiences that have left them feeling numb and lifeless. Traumatized people want to change, but often think they will never change, or are confused about how to start. With professional support and guidance you can make those changes. With more than 8 years experience in counseling, and 7 years higher education, I am dedicated to helping people become the best they can be.
