Kyle Weckesser is a fine dentist - impressed me when I first met him. I had gone to Silverlake Dental in Wilmington with a terrible toothache. I had an abscess in a wisdom tooth. He made arrangements to have the tooth extracted and tried to get me "in" before he, himself, left on holiday. Unfortunately that wasn't possible so he tried to coordinate the same procedure (extraction) from a local, Tewksbury, Massachusetts, dentist who specialized in the same procedure. Wonderful.Shortly after I left Dr. Weckesser's office, I called and spoke with my PCP, Dr. Tavano. He was treating me for a blood clots using Xeralto, a very strong blood thinner. Guess what? I was told that I could not have the tooth extracted until both the blood clot was gone, my knee replacement surgery complete and at least another 60-90 days of taking Xeralto had passed. Happy days. So I continue fighting the "good fight" and have had two additional instances where I have had flareups with my abscess - each time getting a prescription from my PCP as I could not "fix" the problem using the recommended extraction. That's where I am today. Stuck in "never-never-land" unable to either fix it or permanently stop the continuing series of infections. It's wonderful being 73 YO isn't it.Dr. Kyle Weckesser did a great job. I strongly recommend him.
