On August 4th came down to gave a good time. It was my first time there. It was too crowded. No room to dance. But the music was off the hook!

Had a terrible experience at the Brandywine River Ballroom in Delaware. First of all, after arriving and paying $20 to get in, I walked upstairs to notice that the room was filled to capacity(no tables were available, or no standing room was available). It was almost impossible to move. Due to this, I walked back downstairs and notified the person collecting the money about this and asked for a refund. However, she refused to give a refund. My argument was why did you take my money and you are still taking other individual's money and you know that the place is filled past capacity. Despite this no refund was given. While speaking with the lady, I noticed lots of people coming back down and asking for a refund. No refunds were given. This place clearly had to be in violation of the number of occupants but still taking money. I WILL NEVER RETURN AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PAY TO GO SOME PLACE COMFORTABLE AND THAT COULD ACCOMMODATE YOU..

My first visit was December 26, 2009 from Maryland. I was very impressed with the, parking lot attendance, the beautiful layout, the good food and drinks and the Bartenders are friendly & cleanliness of the establishment. The ladies restroom was and always stayed clean. I loved the music & the mature crowd and the live Radio Brocast was great! I was fortunate to have met a kind and wonderful gentleman there ( I call Bigdaddy) and I've been seeing him since then. I'll be back to visit again, keep up the good work!! :)Thanks much!! "J"
