Whitley County High School, a subsidiary of Whitley County School District, provides enrollment to more than 1,200 students in grades nine through 12. The school s curriculum includes classes in English, health, physical education, literature, environmental science, history, science, mathematics, computer, music and arts. Its extracurricular activities include sports, such as soccer, baseball, tennis, wrestling, basketball, volleyball, and track and field. The school also offers various activity clubs, such as a media center and a computer lab for the students. Its learning center assists individuals in the career planning process, and also provides a collection of resources, including books and pamphlets to students. The school has various departments, such as administration, human resources, maintenance, security and transportation.
