Guess it depends who you order from, Talked with many before ordering and went with local dealer with Customer Service Knowledge and Service Center. Freedom does not sell direct and some dealers only sell on line all about price and drop ship you get what you get. I orderded from a local dealer after looking at the inventory and found they only stock a higher level of products and include lots of upgrades on every trailer they sell. They do this to prevent issues and value the customer, explained the price difference. Freedom warranty is covered by the selling dealer only, so if you buy online warranty is only done at the factory 1000 miles away I am Very Happy

I am not typically the kind of person that writes reviews but I must say after all of the bad reviews I read on Freedom Trailers after ordering one from South Georgia Cargo Sales I was really nervous about what I was buying. I picked up my new 2018 32 foot gooseneck enclosed trailer 2 weeks ago and traveled back 950 miles to Texas with no issues at all. Trailer runs straight and true and since I have been back I have went over this trailers from top to bottom. I purchased the trailer with the plans of make many custom changes to the trailer that has required me to disassemble many areas of the trailer to make the custom changes that I wanted to have. This has enabled me to inspect the trailer in a very detailed manner and I must say that I believe the trailer is well worth the money paid. I am sure there are better made trailers If you choose to spend double the price, the service was good while I was on site and they were very helpful getting me hooked up for the trip back. I would say if you are the type of person that wants to nit-pick each and every detail then go spend double your money elsewhere and don’t waste these kind peoples time, if you want to save some money and get a good quality trailer that gets the job done than this is the place for you.

I purchased a 2018 freedom trailer in Jan of 2018, I paid $3,500 more because I wanted the trailer to be reinforced with stronger axles, more height, and a reinforced back door. It’s only been 6 months and my roof started peeling, my supposed to be reinforced door is bent where it’s very hard to close and also a lot of screws where backing out, wood pilling and top was leaking. I drove 450 miles to bring my trailer back so they could fix it. Cindy told me everything was under warranty and that they would take care of everything. I use this trailer to run my hot shot business and they kept my trailer for 3 weeks. Paid someone to pick it up and everything she claimed to fix was not, I’ve been calling them 4 days and no one would answer or return my calls. These people are very Un professional. Cindy is a liar and don’t trust her. I’m also going to the better business bureau to report this. Very un professional!!!!!!!

I bought a 6x12 V nose trailer from these people in April 2016, with the idea of using it for transport of building materials/tools and temporary shelter.
With use as temporary shelter in mind, I removed all of the interior panels so I could insulate.
The fit-ups and welding of the framework is atrocious - and no one who considers themselves competent would pass wires (some of them stretched taught) through metal frame work without using grommets or pinched between frame and skin. It's probably a fire hazard. What a hack job!
It makes me wonder if this was the first trailer these individuals ever built.
I'm taking extra time now and fixing the horrible wiring job.
I'm somewhat heartened by the fact that the trailer was pulled over 1500 miles to my home without the roof peeling off and no obvious leaks.
I realize that this wasn't sold as a top of the line trailer. I expected it to be bare-bones; I also expected it to be safe/roadworthy but it's not - ask any competent inspector if they'd approve a car or truck for road use when so poorly built.
Caveat emptor!

Please don't make the same mistake and ignore the reviews. They are horrible at building trailers. I just purchased a 28 x 8.5 enclosed made by them and my dealer was Trailer Country in Land O Lakes, FL. After I picked up my trailer I seen a few things, but I'm not too picky plus they gave me a bag of screws to fix anything that wasn't properly secured...Should have been my first sign, but I just got off night shift and was ready to get home. It happen to rain the first night. I open the trailer this morning to find a puddle and my golf cart inside wet as if it was outside. Both skylights leaked/ poured, ramp door leaked also. I got my ladder to check out the top to my surprise no sealant!! Trim inside the trailer not screwed/nailed...most trim pieces the nails are sticking out. The drivers side tires stick out further than the passenger. The fit n finish is horrible, no pride in their work at all. I could go on, but I'm tired of finding stuff wrong with this trailer I ordered.

I have to say I was worried about the trailer I ordered, I read the reviews after I had placed the order. The trailer was built in a timely manner, I drove over 450 miles to pick it up, upon arrival I was very pleased with the office staff. I was sent next door to look over the trailer and take delivery. Cindy, who went over the trailer with me was absolutely wonderful. The trailer looked great and appears to be well built, The plywood used on the inside was looked good, no voids were present. I honestly do not understand the negative reviews based on my experience. This is not the first trailer I have bought, my previous was from another manufacturer and the Freedom seems to have flatter sides and better fit and finish. I do not normally write reviews but I feel compelled to let folks know that both the customer service and trailer I received from this manufacturer were both top notch. My only advice would be to leave yourself plenty of time if you go to Willacoochee to pick up your purchase, you do have to go through a few small towns and can't make real good time.

freedom trailers ROCK!

I purchased a 7 x 24 snowmobile trailer built by freedom trailers of Georgia, the trailer was custom built and delivered to my door in three weeks!
Fit and finish is perfect and built exactly how I wanted it.
The price point for this trailer was well under any other trailer I looked at.
I called the factory several times and was treated very well and had ALL my questions answered.
I recommend this company to build your trailer.

Very happy with my Freedom trailer, 4 years old and still looks and rides like new! Love the Dexter e z lube drop axle with upgraded RADIALS. If you plan to drive a lot on the highways, do yourself a favor and upgrade to radials from the bias ply. I own a few Freedom trailers and like both, especially the extra 6'3" ceiling height. Find these negative reviews to be far fetched and very questionable to say the least.

Only wish there were negative stars....I'm a professional auto transporter. I own a 2015 32' gooseneck car hauler. Calling this trailer junk is unfair to other junk. The tires that came on it disintegrated within 8k miles. The roof is literally tearing apart. It's held together with gorilla tape (which is much thicker and stronger than the metal roof). I have to spend at least an hour tightening screws in the exterior and floor boards after every trip. None of the doors close correctly anymore. The interior finish looks like a class of third graders with a Fischer price tool kit did the work. Towing this trailer is like driving around with a trunk full of cocaine...just waiting for something horrible to happen. It was the cheapest trailer I found and boy am I paying for that stupid decision now. I'm just hoping it gets hit by a train or an asteroid. I CANNOT RECOMMEND AGAINST BUYING A FREEDOM TRAILER ENOUGH!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES!!!!!

Biggest POS I ever bought. I had a 34' vnose built. The walls look like a blind guy built it. I've had it since February and it's falling apart. It's suppose to be a HD 2 car hauler. Rear ramp bowed the first time I loaded a car in it. So now the door doesn't close right. Screws are falling out all over. Metal on the drivers side is cracked around the screws on 3 panels. 2 axles the brakes fell apart inside the drum. Roof has cracked and leaking in 3 spots. Front ramp door will not open unless you inside and kick it open. Leaking wheel seal. Frame not under coated. Battery in brake away was not hooked up. Plywood floor has shrunk and there's gaps between each sheet. Then I call for warranty and they tell me they only do warranty work on Saturday and they're book until mid November. They tell me to bring it in for an inspection and then they can schedule an appointment. I live 1200 miles away. Not like it's just next door. Junk Junk Junk. Total thieves. Save your money.

Trailer was purchased through Trailer Country and manufactured by Freedom Trailers. Do not use either one of these agencies. Trailer Country lied about installing add ons that never got installed. The factory gave my driver a huge hassle when he asked about it. The plywood flooring has a huge crack in it as well. Very poorly made trailer!!!

Just returned from Freedom Trailers w/my new, improperly constructed trailer with electric brakes which also do not function properly, and wore out 2 of the tires. That must be why they initially left the brakes disconnected! Measurements not correct, beside lots of sections of un-welded framework! Does not stand behind warranty; believe all the bad reviews you read, I learned the hard way! Rude manager as well!

Just filed a BBB report on them....Purchased new 36ft gooseneck cargo trailer in Aug 2013, roof

leaked three months later, they replaced it, still leaks in corners, screws fall out, siding rippled, management rude. NOW AC unit totally broke, I have 2 year warranty, they said call AC manufacturer they don't warranty installed products. Called Coleman, they won't warranty it because Freedom Trailer installed wrong AC unit, should have been a Roughneck unit to handle cargo bouncing. Freedom Trailer management says "they installed what was on the specs" THATS NOT MY FAULT, I paid to have a knowledgeable company build my trailer, I don't write the specs!! I DO NOT recommend this company and tell all my friends to tell their friends go else where....Don't let their sun shiny facebook page fool you!

Don't buy these trailers, very poor material they use to build them. Screws falls easy, rust everywhere simply by trailer being exposed to humidity. Don't waste your money.

DONT DO IT!!!

I have nothing good to say about the quality and workmanship of the freedom trailer. Nor do I have anything good to say about the company representatives concern,or lack thereof, regarding the issues. I bought a concession trailer with a back porch in December, 2014. The concession windows are out of square, the exterior paint is coming off, the electrical cord is under the trailer so you cannot access unless you get on the ground, dry or muddy, and pull it out of a hole in the bottom of the trailer. I could go on and on but really no point. I have talked to three different people at the factory only to be passed yet to another person who could care less. If you are looking to purchase a trailer, don't buy a freedom trailer... Keep looking!!

I paid almost $20,000 for a 24 ft trailer with Freedom. There are so many mistakes, it's ridiculous. Was wired for 50 amp service, should have been 30… costing me hundreds of extra dollars. Interior layout was NOT close at all to my specifications. I cannot open half of the cabinets inside because of this. There is an extra door I did not order/shouldn't even be there. It was 2 weeks late. Zero customer service. Shelves in wrong place, parts keep breaking. Crappy, expensive, poorly ran company.

Drove 18 hours to pick up my custom built trailer. I question the undercoating of the frame and body, with regards to handling salt and sand. Greg, service manager, told me that it would and it was coated with Z-Tech undercoating and they never had an issue. But if I find any problems, to notify him personally and he would take care of them. Within 3 weeks and 3 uses of trailer, the entire frame was covered in rust. I contacted Greg and the dealer, I was told that it was surface rust and they would not handle the issue. I continued to push and ask to speak to District Manager and was told if I wanted to drive 18 hours back They would coat it again. This was ridiculous! The fuel alone one way would cost over $600 plus hotel and meals while waiting for it to get done. It costs me $700 to have it re undercoated here and they would not reimburse me for any of it. Then the electrical was dangerous as ever. There were open wires jammed into the frame. Parking lights had issues from beginning. I would never recommend Freedom Trailers to anyone unless you like a do-it-yourself fix it up job from the beginning.

Just received my new 26' Freedom trailer and it is great!

I had it custom built through a reliable, established trailer dealer (TRT Trailers in Lincolnton, NC). I selected the Freedom mainly because they have more available and custom options that any other trailer dealer that I came across, plus great value for the money! Before going with TRT + Freedom, I did a lot of research on trailers and visited 3-4 different dealers.

Upon receipt of my trailer, I had a concern with something...not expecting anything to really be done, but TRT & Freedom stepped up and quickly offered a fix. I was blown away at them even offering a solution, and it proved what great customer service Freedom has to try and satisfy their customer base.

Not sure what went on with the other post here, but my guess is he probably did an "internet sale" of some sort for the cheapest price around. I found a lot of folks out there claiming to be dealers of these trailers, with unreal prices, but their "company" is actually only a home computer. Specifying and buying a trailer takes a lot of time, research, and education in order to get exactly what you want. Only a true trailer dealer with knowledgeable Sales folks can do that and help the potential buyer. I couldn't believe how many things had to be discussed on trailer options, etc. I would have never known if I hadn't used a reliable dealer that led me through the whole process. Then if problems develop, the dealer is there to help.

So for me, my new Freedom 26' trailer purchased at TRT Trailers was a great experience. Then to get the unexpected and quick "service after the sale" really made an impression on me.

I'd definitely buy another Freedom Trailer in a heartbeat!
