Allen Elementary School, established in 1952, is located in Wichita, Kan. The school has an annual academic enrollment of more than 450 students from kindergarten through grade five. It offers a range of programs, such as before- and after-school care, interrelated special education and early childhood programs. The school has a parent-teacher organization, as well as a site council that provides counseling for evaluating school performance and objectives. It offers a variety of educational subjects, such as math, science, reading, social studies, computer application, arts and physical education. Allen Elementary School is governed by Wichita Public Schools, which also governs other elementary, middle and high schools.
