      Founded in 1957, the Whittier Hospital Medical Center is a nonprofit 178-bed facility. With more than 500 physicians, the center offers nuclear medicine, radiology, pediatric, surgical, rehabilitative and diagnostic services. It is accredited by The Joint Commission. The center provides inpatient and outpatient, arthroscopic orthopedic surgery services. The Whittier Hospital Medical Center also offers physical, respiratory, occupational and speech therapy programs. The center additionally provides obstetrics, vascular, cardiology, mammography, pulmonary and audiology services. It also offers a range of medical care services for joint replacement, neck and back pain, stroke and neurological conditions and industrial medicine injuries.
