Diocese of Worcester Office for Youth Ministry, located in Whitinsville, Mass., serves the parishes and the Diocese of Worcester in fostering the development of young people according to Christian disciplines. It offers various awards for Boy Scouts, such as Light of Christ, Parvuli Dei, Ad Altare Dei, Pope Pius XII, Bronze Pelican and St. George Emblem. The ministry also recognizes girl scouts with awards, such as Family of God, I Live My Faith, Marian Medal, Saint Anne Medal and Spirit Alive. The rooms in its retreat center features amenities, such as Overhead Projector, TV, VCR and DVD, dry erase boards and flipcharts. The ministry organizes various day and evening retreats, including confirmation, junior high school, high school and Christian leadership retreats. Diocese of Worcester Office for Youth Ministry has athletic teams in basketball, softball and volleyball.
