I have a nice pair of Calvin Klein boots and heels need to be replaced. So I got online and found Wexford Expert Shoe & Leather. I took my good condition boots there and told them all I need is to replace the heels.
When I pick up my boots, it didn’t look the same as before because there were some protruding wrinkles on up front of the boots. Since I hadn’t taken picture of it before I sent in, so I didn’t anything at that time and just brought boots back. However, after a couple of times wearing, the leather started peeling from the wrinkles! I had replaced heels for my other shoes at other shop and never had this problem before. So I went back and showed them the boots. I tried to ask what did they do to my boots (I suspected the man either put my shoes on the machine or used chemical solution to clean the boots). And if they could repair it by putting another layer of leather on top of the boots? But the man did not even let me finish my question and said “I did not do anything to your shoes. You brought in fake leather boots and it’s just about the time to peel off”. Then he was very rude and asked me to leave. I was so upset and told them the boots are real leather and I wouldn’t leave. I was trying to solve the problem with them. Then He throw my boots out and tried to push me out. I warned him not pushing me. I told them I wouldn’t leave and they can call the police. So the front desk lady called police. Police came in few minutes. I explained to the officer what happened. The officer told me that he had been working around this area for a quite bit of time. This was not the first time. It happened to the other clients and himself stopped by this shop many times. Officer also told me this man is very mean and rude. He encouraged many clients to go to Allegheny County Magisterial District and sue him. But unfortunately, nobody actually did it so far. Being a working Mom and busy life, I understand why people just let it go. Hope this review can help others

Ok, I can tell you this place (just past Patrones-heading S -rt 19) is amazing.

I had heels put on my husband's shoes w a vibran sole. I had new sole put on my boots. I had lots of crinkle in my riding boots, not a spot was missed in polishing!!:)

It was 50$ for both pairs. Both pairs were polished like brand new purchase. The new heels on my husband's shoes are simply beautiful Gepetto quality!!

This place is awesome!! Thank you for your hard work!!
