What can I say!! This place has the friendliest family that run's the place...The produce is great and so is the selection. But the gem of this place is the Deli/Restaurant...What?? you didn't know they served food?? Try there Gyro's..beef or chicken ..only $5(sorry Subway) ...Huge and delicious!!! I tried the Mealoaf dinner one Saturday..and was not happy with it..Only because it was the best damn meatloaf I've ever had.... I tried to get the recipe ...but was told "It's a family secret!!" so I offered my son's hand in marriage to try to get it and was declined... You got try this place...small - family run - a great value and truly a hidden gem for us Foodies..

Great little produce store with a deli/restaurant... The gyros for $5 are out of this world beef or chicken and probably one of the best I've ever had...1 is enough to fill you... Tried the meatloaf and mashed potato's 2 weeks ago ..told the girl behind the counter I was not happy with my meal..she asked why? I told her because it was the best meatloaf that I've ever had and was better than mine...Tried to bribe her for the recipe ..and was told it was a family secret... at that point I asked her if she wanted to marry my son..so I could get the family recipe..but she declined... Need to try more items here...have not been disapointed...the people (family run) are super nice and freindly..I live in east hartford and have going to this place for years..love the place!!

Their soups of the day are outstnding, especially Crab and Corn Chowder on Monday, and Turkey Chili on Friday. Their grinders beat Subway's in both value and quality. As a Texan, I know my Chili, and now as a New Englander, I know my Chowder.
