Disappointed in their workmanship. We had a furnace replaced and high end air filter (about $600) installed. The filter was installed upside down and backwards with the vent blowing into only about 1/3 of it. The result was that our house was not being filtered. In addition, it failed inspection because of the duct work. Hofmeister removed the incorrect filter and "fixed" the duct work. It failed inspection again and the new filter they provided is a cheap replacement (cost about $4.00). They charged us for the repairs and did not give us credit for the expensive filter we paid for that they took! We had to hire a second contractor to fix the duct work and finally (third time) pass inspection. We spent over $11,000 on this project and had to keep calling them back in order to try to pass inspection! They have only offered us a $150 credit. In addition, the owner of the company refuses to take our calls to try to resolve this dispute.
