Scott knew more about my boat than I knew about my boat

I have been involved with sailing for about 40 years so I have been in my fair share of equipment shops. My experience today at the Boat Locker in Bridgeport was an absolute delight.

The owner took his time and answered what must have seemed like a thousand questions from me. He was knowledgable and VERY helpful. He also gave me a tour of his new location and I was impressed by the facilities and selection. If you need ANYTHING to get racing on a small boat... This is the place to go.

Sailing equipment is often expensive. It is what it is. I found the prices here to be quite reasonable and I even found a few bargains.

While I can't proclaim to know much about kayaks or stand up paddle boards, it sure seemed like the Boat Locker had a great selection of those as well.

I will return any time I need a part, a new boat or some gear.

There's a few dealers that have class legal Laser parts in stock, and the Boat Locker has the knowledge and the inventory. I stopped by and they even helped out with some packing material and tie downs for the new spar when I showed up unprepared. Composite uppers and MKII full rig sails, give Scott a call!

I have been sailing competitively for roughly 10 years now, and The Boat Locker has been outfitting me with gear and parts throughout every step of my development as a sailor.

I bought everything (drysuit, spray gear, boots, gloves, tech shirts, watch, etc) from The Boat Locker and have always had positive interactions with the owner and staff. They'll answer any and every question I have and really spend the time to make sure they help me to the best of their ability.

I now go to school in upstate NY, and although TBL is roughly 7 hours away, I've continued to order equipment from them. They're always more than happy to speak to me on the phone and are quick to ship whatever I need. For ex, I needed a watch for an upcoming collegiate regatta. I ordered it Thursday evening and received it just in time on Saturday morning.

I met Scott and his associate Rick, who work at the Boat Locker, at the NYC boat show last year and was able to secure a great deal on a 2015 Hobie Outback. Scott ended up being very helpful in helping me choose accessories for my boat without pushing me towards unnecessary extras that I really didn't need. I am beyond satisfied with my boat and the service provided by the employees at the boat locker. Whenever I had a question about maintaining my mirage drive or installing a new fish finder, there was always a friendly face I knew I could rely on.

A friend on my college's sailing team recommended the boat locker to me because I was new to sailing and needed some gear. They had very good prices on boots and gloves that I've been using for awhile now, with no visible signs of wear. I look forward to getting more involved in sailing and whenever i need a new piece of equipment, I'll shop here for sure.

I've been a customer of The Boat Locker for years and am hugely satisfied with the service they provide. I bought a Hobie pedal drive kayak with a sail from them a few years ago and am absolutely in love with it. It's great for a day out with the kids or even fishing, and the staff is always quick to call or email me back. Absolutely no qualms with them when my boat needs servicing. They generally do a great job and clearly know what they're doing. Glad to see they're doing well after such a big move to Bridgeport. The new place looks great.

I am a college sailor who has been shopping at the boat locker for the last 4 years. Every time I go in Scott, the owner is there to help me find whatever I need. Any time my team needed parts for our aging fleet of boats Scott was happy to put in an order and we always got it on time.
