      Westfield Grinding Wheel Company was established and incorporated in 1923 by George L. Gaylord and Richard N. Gaylord, Sr. who had both worked at Vitrified Wheel Company for many years before deciding to start their own grinding wheel company.Westfield Grinding Wheel Co manufactures private label cutoff and precision grinding wheels at our facility in Westfield, Massachusetts. We have been at our present location since 1964 and have recently completed the third building addition to our plant.These additions give us the required manufacturing area needed to satisfy the increased demand for our products, space for our modern manufacturing equipment and room for future technological improvements in the manufacturing process.Complementing our wheel manufacturing abilities, Westfield Grinding Wheel Co also represents the Desmond-Stephan MFG. Co. in New England by carrying their complete line of abrasive dressing tools including precision dressers and cutters, hand tools, diamond nibs, cones, chisels and cluster nibs.
