We are a cutting-edge childcare center located in Central Palm Beach County. Although two separate schools, the buildings are located next to one another on the same property. A Baby’s World is a school dedicated solely to the care of infants and toddlers. Palm Beach Preschool provides care to children ages 2-12 years and offers programs such Preschool, VPK, Aftercare, and Camps. Being Family owned and operated is a unique characteristic of our schools. Ms Karla and Mr Doug are the owners of both schools. Ms Karla is an on-site owner who takes the safety, the care, and the education of all the children seriously. She personally connects with each child, getting to know most, if not all of them on a personal basis. She has Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders, and is currently taking classes in early childhood education that support current research in early childhood education. Her background knowledge is extremely helpful when guiding her staff on developmentally appropriate practices. Mr. Doug works more "behind the scenes," however is there daily to serve the parents, children, and staff as needed. Both schools are active in many programs that are being offered on a state and county level which were set up to help improve outcomes with children in early childhood centers. Ms Shannon (Director), and Ms Karla oversee and support these programs by assisting the teachers in their practice through classroom observations and feedback sessions, developing goals and plans for future growth and success, and through encouraging the teachers with their professional development plan. :30AM-6:00 PM Monday-Friday, which is helpful to many working families.
