La Fontana needs a total makeover. It's old and in disrepair. The pool is just not nice, the bathrooms are creepy as are the dark, dank, moldy hallways. Environmental hazards are everywhere and the building smells like smoke. Pay attention to the back of the building where the recycling bins are often overflowing with trash, not recyclable. The elevators are not reliable and are very worn. The A/C system needs to be replaced and for months the building has either had no A/C or A/C from a rental unit on a flat bed trailer in the parking lot. The halls are hot and smelly as are the rooms with the trash chutes. Board members are largely snow birds who spend very little time as residents and don't care much about the building. The lack of caring is noticeable in everything from the cleanliness to the attitude of the staff. Avoid this building, with Black Mold, Second Hand Smoke, Lead Based Paint, absentee board members, & a disgusting pool, it's a miserable place to live.
