Al is extremely talented and Nikki is great support. Al is totally re-building my wife's 1995 Jeep YJ 4x4. They have done major engine work and are continuing to add their expertise to the suspension. Al takes a personal interest in his projects and totally keeps you apprised of all. He is a wealth of information and shares his knowledge with you so you can make good educated decisions before spending a bundle on the unknown. He found one of our worse pet peeves, A OIL LEAK. We took this Jeep to 3 other places and got a lot of confusion with no answers. Al told us to give him a couple of days with it and then gave us a concrete solution with a great price,so we did it. He never guessed like the others. As a result we went forward and allowed him to do major engine work and he delivered us great results. We are picky people that ask a lot of questions. He understood and respected that and since then have decided to have them do the total restoration. It's hard to find a good mechanic that can get the job done and be fair with the price. It's not a fancy place, but if you overlook that and focus on his expertise and knowledge you will realize that they are very good and will not break the bank. My advice is, if your lucky enough to have a great mechanic your very lucky. The reality is that ALS Affordable is great place to go and take your car and get it done right the first time and not break the bank. We don't recommend many, but we have found a great mechanic that will work with us in order to achieve our goals. He'll shoot straight with you and understands money is important.
