- CMS Solutions Inc. specializes in expedited custom-critical point-to-point LTL flatbed hotshot transport throughout the United States. We are based in Salt Lake City, Utah. With easy access to Interstates 15 and 80 (I-15 & I-80), we can be enroute to your location within minutes. We offer flatbed services using a “Hot Shot” style setup. Our trailers can carry up to 16,000 pounds of freight. We also offer tow-away service for those times when a customer needs their own gooseneck or hitch-pulled trailer equipment moved. Our flatbed trailers have a standard 102 inch (8’6”) width, and a total length of 31 feet (26’ of standard wooden deck, plus 5’ of a configurable flat steel deck or as a sloped beaver tail/ramp setup for loading/unloading equipment). The deck heights of our flatbeds are approximately 36 inches, which makes them comparable to stepdeck height. Because of the lower height, the trailers are suitable for side-loading with a forklift, or overhead crane loading. Like stepdecks, they’re capable of transporting taller freight. Equipment such as excavators, tractors, and trucks can be loaded using the sloped beaver tail and ramps configuration. The size and versatility of our equipment setup make custom and expedited LTL loads more efficient. We’ve moved drilling apparatus for bridge projects, oil refinery diagnostic and testing equipment, customized fasteners for power substation projects, along with coal and gold mining equipment.
