Forest School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes math, reading, music, art and science. The school operates a parent-teacher association, gymnasium and library. Forest School offers special education programs for students with special needs. The school provides English as a Second Language and Title I programs. In addition, Forest School offers a range of enrichment programs. It operates a cafeteria that provides a variety of lunch options. The school also publishes a monthly newsletter. Forest School is governed by West Haven Public Schools, which is comprised of more than 10 schools, including Molloy School, Pagels School and Thompson School.
