The Community Development Department is responsible for economic development, planning, zoning and appearance review. It also manages performance securities, engineering and subdivision reviews, as well as assure code compliance. The department administers business and rental registration and processes special event applications. The Community Development Department supports various low interest licensing and loans and grants programs. It additionally issues and administers permits and performs inspections.
