I had the opportunity to (go through) this temp. agency and was deployed to the Jefferson Industries Corp. West Jefferson Ohio. I operated a forklift and destacked racks at the fastest pace possible. I worked 7 working day's with no incidents or down time. One day my manager was in front of me on a forklift and we were going the same way. As I approached from behind I noticed the lift slowing down in front of me for no reason. It was directly in front of my work rows. My lift is the only one in that zone because of my speed skills to supply requirements. As I turned to the left to begin unstacking he slammed his brakes on and I came close to his left rr corner- DID NOT HIT IT !!! He had me fired. He was on the lift because he didn't want to walk. He was in the aisle he had announced "was NOT to be used as a shortcut. Everyone go around this aisle." This is my guess--he had no forklift safety test document. Who should be fired???????
