I previously went to Vons market until Northgate was built. Vons is a joke, poor lighting and their customer service is the worst. Northgate has the best produce and the meat department is excellent. Their customer service is really good and fast when you ask for help. It's constantly crowded with shoppers but unlike Vons they have many cash registers open so the lines are short. Oh! Did I forget their prices are better than Vons too. Buying just made hot tortilles is great. Tamales and other Mexicans dishes is cool.

The northgate market is a great place to go to get your produce and vegetables, its also a great place where you can find candies, and treats from south of the border. To be honest it gives you the feeling of an older Mexican market
