Established in 1972, Check-Mate Industries is an ISO 9001: 2000-certified manufacturer of tools, dies, stampings and assemblies. Its capabilities include in-house tooling and engineering, metal stampings, tool and die design, inspection, assembly, and lean and contract manufacturing. The company uses a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, copper, titanium, brass, copper and exotic alloys. It serves a variety of industries, including handgun and rifle magazine manufacturing, medical stamping and assembly, communication, art, electrical, automotive, furniture, cosmetics and constructions. In addition, the company offers a tool and die apprenticeship program that provides instructions on various topics, such as tool design, metallurgy, computer-aided programming and metrology. Check-Mate Industries operates a more than 30,000-square-foot facility and is located in Wyandanch, N.Y.
