THIS is the place to go to for all your gadget needs! The lead tech and manager, Jorge, is among the most brilliant professionals in the field. Seriously if he cant fix it, it's probably kaput. Their prices are extremely fair and they work with you based on what you need unlike most other repair shops. They do a lot of custom work and have a great turnover on repair orders.

On top of that, the store owner and operator of the company is a Tampa local who has built the franchise from the ground up over the past 20 years. Great, humble guy who is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He's very friendly and honest but a true innovator and master of his craft. He works long hard hours but still makes time to greet his customers and even do some repairs himself. When was the last time a CEO of a company has dealt with your requests personally?

They've pretty much fixed everything I broke, and in the cases where I broke it too bad, they still had alternative solutions for me. Aside from offering services not found anywhere else they also have a constant rotating inventory of used and refurbished electronics for sale with great deals on them too!

I took my iPhone in to replace the screen as I had dropped it and thought I broke it. When they checked it over, they found that my screen protector was cracked and not my phone. I was thrilled at the news as it cost much less than it would have otherwise. They put a new screen protector on it as a much less price than I paid at the Verizon Store. They could have charged me the whole amount to fix my screen and I would never had known. Very honest business and I will go there again.

My computer had bad water damage they check it and help me replacing the computer mother board, saved my information and call me after two days to pickup 100% satisfied.

I have been bringing all my family's electronics for repair here since almost 5 years, laptops and phones, always took care of me , always discounted prices for returning customers, this is a unique repair store.

Very disappointed. They were not able to fix tablet after trying 3 times but felt it was ok to keep my $171. The screen and the screen only was broken. Now it is scratched on the edges and the new screen has scratches on it. To which I was told the frame was bent even though none of this was that way when I brought it in. Now had ge refunded my money no issues. If you cant fix it fine but how do you feelit is ok to keep my money when your provided service failed? The one star is because they make you put something.

"F" RATED WITH THE BBB- BEWARE! I read a few bad reviews online before bringing my tablet in for repair. I thought they were just a few scorned customers, so desperately and regretfully went in...



I had left my Samsung Tab 4 tablet on the roof of my car and drove off. Needless to say it was in horrible shape. When I entered the store I thought it honestly looked like a tech chop shop. But again, desperate to fix my new tablet I stayed. The "manager" told me it would be $99.00 plus $8.00 to overnight the new glass screen. He advised me to get a case for it, like an otter box, because I only had a portfolio case. Mind you, he sells no cases for the Samsung tablet. He also indicated that IF YOU GIVE A GOOD YELP REVIEW YOU GET 5% OFF. Why would I do this before even seeing my finished product? I believe this is a main reason for the 4 star reviews on yelp.



THREE days later I took the tablet out of my bag and the entire glass screen just fell off. Literally, fell off. I was annoyed but wasn't worried because I had the 30 day "Warranty". I called the shop, and the young girl who answered the phone was so rude I could hardly believe it. She told me that the screen falling out was "impossible" that they use " industrial strength glue" to hold the screen in. She was giving me attitude like I was trying to pull a fast one on her.



I went in and the manager was there. With my warranty and receipt in hand I told him the issue. He said "Oh, you broke it.". I was stunned. He then told me my warranty was void because it was MY FAULT for not getting a case for it. He NEVER ONCE mentioned this to me when repairing my screen the first time. If he did I obviously would have bought a stronger case! (Not from him since they only carry older products) He asked me what I paid for my previous repair, then quoted me $70.00 to replace it. I walked out.



Needless to say this was and is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. They are rude, disrespectful, and have no consideration for their customers. THEY ARE A SCAM. DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS HERE!!! Don't look past the 1 star reviews like I did!





*I'm sure the "manager" will reply (like I see on all bad reviews) and try to do damage control, but I've already reported to the BBB and Bay News 9. Shame on you!

Your prices are redicoulously outrages. You guys have charged me about $30 more on mostly every glass replacement than any other phone place thats out there. Could have just went to any other place and saved my money!

Sorry thought I was reviewing another company, the gadget repair behind panera bread on fowler and BB downs....that one is terrible! Guys does not know what he is doing! Will take your money and not repair your phone after 7 days of keeping at his location

Horrible Service! We took three laptops in to have them checked to see what was wrong with them. Two weren't worth repairing, but the third one was. We were told it had viruses, and Gadgets Repair could clean it up and remove all the viruses. We got the computer home, and there was an error message on start up that wouldn't go away unless you clicked "OK". Additionally, we couldn't connect to the Internet.



We took the computer back and the tech called a little later to say that it was reinfected with a virus that was downloaded and reactivated when I clicked "OK" to clear the error message. He said he would delete the programs that were causing the infection for an additional $55. I asked if it meant just deleting them via the control panel and he said yes, that would clear up the virus error message. He said there was another program that also needed to be removed . . . "splenda, or splendid or something like that." I know how to remove a program, so I told him I would do it myself.



We bring the computer home, I remove the programs that were causing the virus, but the only program that came close to the "splenda, or splendid," was my graphics card, which the manufacturer said I had to have. On rebooting the computer, the error message was gone, but we still couldn't connect to the Internet. We took it back to Gadgets once again, and admittedly, we were frustrated and short with the lady, but then we get a call saying they will not fix the computer because we were rude to one of the employees.



REALLY!!! If the viruses had been removed from the computer, it would not have the error message; we could not connect to the Internet; we've already paid to have these viruses removed; and yet it's OUR fault that we were reinfected, and we're rude when we feel frustrated and cheated!



They may be good at replacing broken glass in mobile phones, but don't trust them with your computers!

I busted the glass on my brand new Samsung Note 3, and took it here for repairs. They explained the two possible repair options, giving their honest recommendation. I opted for full front screen enclosure replacement, which was adequately completed very quickly. The only wait was for a part that had to be ordered from Miami, since they didn't keep it in stock. Felt comfortable leaving my phone overnight for repairs. After pick-up, realized that the primary microphone was no longer working, so returned and explained the malfunction, and their friendly staff ordered a whole new board (after testing) and fixed it immediately without any extra charges or hassles. They were busy each time that I visited, so go early in the day, if possible. Appreciate that they are open past the closing time of most businesses, giving me time to get there after work. I am extremely pleased with the cost, quality of work, and service.

This place was awesome! They fixed my iphone for 60 bucks because they match prices!

Won't replace the glass in my droid. Said they would. I already paid for glass. Every time I go in or call the "guy" that fixes them is never there. They then say they will call when "guy" is in, they never call. Going on two weeks now trying to get this done. If they didn't have my glass I wouldn't deal with them. I only gave one star because I can't give a negative number.
