Was told twice my payment amount would only be 33.00 so i said ok. then later i was billed 50.06, then another bill came in for101.20 for a total of 151.26. The glasses have been made twice and still not right.Both companies billed i never heard of.It is very ape-rant to me that this place cant be trusted. i would go anywhere else but here.when i grew up i was taught that honesty was the best policy, but not here.

I understand that sometimes people have a bad experience while shopping but I find this an occasion where it should be noted when a place provides exceptional service above and beyond what is expected. so, this is my personal experience.
I had an eye exam preformed here today and the people were very courteous and friendly, so much so that after speaking with them and them taking time to answer my many questions I decided to move my daughters prescription from another eye care place whom after the exam became to busy to take any time (after waiting almost 45 minutes) to assist us in finding her glasses. The people were very friendly and courteous as well. I found no hidden charges (always a nice sigh of relief), the sales representatives were friendly, helpful and not pushy for the sale (they cared about what I could afford and about talking me out of my means). They explained all of my purchase options as well as coverage and differences in options. So, today we purchased two pairs of glasses and from now on my family will be going there and only there in the future as well as informing anyone that we know whom want to see a good eye care provider.

My first (and only) visit. Dr. Kilgore was nice, but they billed to my MEDICAL insurance instead of vision which meant that my deductible kicked in. An eye exam is $45.00. They charged $181.00 + $25.00 = for $206.00 for eye exam because I have Dry Eye Syndrome. Dr. Kilgore did absolutely NO extra tests for this; I told her I had been diagnosed several years ago and use Restasis. Since she renewed my prescription for Restasis, she charged this amount. I think this is a total scam to use my insurance this way and when I complained, they said I had signed for them to use my medical insurance if necessary, which I did, not believing for one minute that would be necessary. I have been using Restasis for 10+ years and have NEVER been billed other than on my VISION insurance. Neither the office staff, nor Kate at the corporate billing, which is owned by Crown Vision, was at all helpful or willing to do anything. IF YOU GO HERE, MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT SIGN FOR THEM TO FILE ON YOUR MEDICAL INSURANCE! I filed complaints with my insurance carrier, BBB and Missouri Optometry Board.

Dr. Abby Kilgore and the staff at Wentzville Eye Center are courteous, professional and were a pleasure to work with.
