General Info

Doug grew up in Western Colorado, riding motorcycles, mountain bikes, climbing and exploring the desert. He graduated from Colorado Mesa University with a degree in Biology. He then spent time in Alaska working as an environmental chemist and petroleum researcher while actively participating in the rugby community. Paragliding brought him to Cashmere, to pursue his passion and run Airplay, one of the largest paragliding schools in the country. For 14 years, Doug taught hundreds of students to fl
