      General Info
      Maria T. Rivero, MD is a board-certified obstetrics-gynecology physician with more than 20 years of experience in the field. Dr. Rivero earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Medical School in Lubbock, Texas. She completed her internship and OB/GYN residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Rivero is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecolgy and distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, Texas Medical Assoication, and Harris County Medical Society. She currently serves as a member of the Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas. Dr. Rivero previously served as a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. She was also chief of staff of the OB/GYN department at Christus St. John Hospital in Houston. Her clinical interests include obstetrics, HPV and abnormal pap smears, menopause management, adolescent gynecology, da Vinci minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Rivero is bilingual and can provide care to Spanish speaking patients. Dr. Rivero is committed to providing quality health care with special attention given to patients regarding communication and patient education.
